Today, due to optimization of precalciner systems, so called short kilns are adequately dimensioned for cement plants. Kiln Supporting system is basically 3 supports system, but 2 supports system is applicable for short kiln.
The kiln shell is supported in tires and rollers and driven via girth gear and pinion system. The kiln is completed by inlet and outlet seals, hydraulic axial thrust system (Movable thruster) and air cooling system. All these components of the kiln are manufactured and supplied by Gears India to assure high operating reliability and kiln availability.
